"Parking was more frustrating than I expected"
Parking was a bit of a hassle for me. It didn’t feel very convenient, and in my opinion, it made the overall visit more stressful than it needed to be.

"Woke up to the best ocean view"
I’m guessing we got a good room because that ocean view was beautiful every single morning. Such a nice way to start the day.

"Pool and hot tub were disappointing"
The pool was way too cold to really enjoy, which was a bummer because we were looking forward to using it. And then the hot tub wasn’t much better, it barely seemed to be working and, I don’t know, it just looked kind of dirty. We asked about it a couple times, and the staff kept saying maintenance was on the way, but nothing ever actually changed the whole time we were there. It was just frustrating, especially since those were the amenities we were excited about.

I tried to book a room, but every time I got to checkout, the total seemed to change on me. I figured maybe I missed something at first, so I went back through it, but it kept happening. Then I called for help and sat on hold way longer than I had time for. At that point, I didn’t feel like I was being impatient or picky, I just needed a room booked without all the back and forth. I ended up giving up and booking somewhere else. Frustrating overall

"Clean and comfortable, with just a couple small things"
I’m usually cautious about cleanliness when staying somewhere, but the room was clean when we arrived and had a fresh smell, which made me feel a lot better. I did notice a few dusty spots near the vents, so if you’re sensitive to dust it’s worth keeping in mind, but it wasn’t a big issue for us. Overall, it felt safe, comfortable, and I was happy with the stay.
"Beach access was good, just not quite effortless"
We stayed here mainly because we wanted easy beach access, and overall it was decent. I really liked not having to load everyone into the car, but the walk did feel a bit longer than I pictured, especially with beach bags and kids in tow. Once we got there, the beach was clean and really easy to relax on. So, not a bad setup at all... just maybe not as super convenient as I had hoped.

"Check-in and check-out were easy"
We stayed with Spectrum Resorts, the check-in process was really smooth. I wasn’t totally sure what to expect at first, but they sent the info ahead of time and we didn’t end up waiting around or feeling confused. Check-out was just as simple too, with no long process or random surprises. It definitely made the trip feel less stressful, which I appreciated. I’d probably stay again.

"Not as family friendly as we hoped"
The place was okay overall, but traveling with kids made it feel more stressful than I expected. We had a hard time figuring out easy family-friendly things to do, and a lot of the areas seemed more geared toward adults. The room itself was fine, but for the price I thought it would be a lot more convenient with little ones. Also, when I reached out for help, the replies felt copy-pasted and didn’t really answer what I was asking, which was frustrating...

"I had a really good experience with Spectrum..."
I had a really good experience with Spectrum Resorts customer support before our stay. I had a few questions before booking, and they got back to me fast with actual answers, not those thrilling copy-paste responses we all know and definitely love.
They also helped me sort out a small issue with our reservation and kept me updated the whole time. Shocking, I know, but it was nice not having to chase someone down like it was a full-time job.
Overall, they were easy to deal with, friendly, and genuinely helpful. It made the whole process way less stressful, and I’d definitely use them again.

The room itself was okay, honestly. But we had to call maintenance twice, and both times it took way too long for anyone to get back to us. It was frustrating...

"Price didn’t match the stay"
I stayed here thinking the higher price would mean a better experience, but it really didn’t. The room was just okay, and because so many extras cost more, the total added up quickly. In the end, I felt like I paid too much for what I got.

"Honestly, the room was way nicer than I expected"
The room was clean overall, which instantly made me feel like I’d won the hotel lottery. There were a few worn spots here and there, but nothing that made me want to dramatically pack my bags and flee. Overall, nice

"Nice place, confusing little surprise fees"
The place itself was nice, so that was great. It just would’ve been even better if the extra fees had been made clear upfront instead of magically appearing later and making the final price more confusing than it needed to be.

"Good food nearby, just gets crowded"
We stayed through Spectrum Resorts and I was happy with the food options. I kind of assumed it would just be basic resort food, but there were a few solid restaurant choices close by, which made things way easier with kids. Breakfast was simple and quick, and dinner was actually tasty. The only downside was that when it got packed, the service slowed down quite a bit. Still, overall a good experience.

I booked with them and, the staff didn’t seem all that friendly. When I asked a few questions, it felt like they were sort of annoyed or like I was bothering them. Just not a very welcoming vibe overall...

"Super easy place to get around"
We stayed with Spectrum Resorts and the location was probaly my favorite part. The beach was right there, plenty of food spots were close by, and we barely had to use the car. That made things so much easier with the kids. Parking did get kind of annoying a couple times, but besides that it was a really good stay.

We had to cancel our trip, and I was a little nervous about how the refund would go. Spectrum Resorts did take a few days to get back to us, which felt kind of ridiculous when you’re waiting on money, but they did end up processing everything and explained the fees clearly enough. The timing wasn’t perfect, but overall I’m satisfied with how it was handled.
